Brunei DarussalamBrunei Darussalam is a country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. Apart from its coastline with the South China Sea it is completely surrounded by the state of Sarawak, Malaysia.

Brunei Darussalam consists of two unconnected parts with a total area of 5,770 sq km 97%. The total population of Brunei Darussalam is about 400,000 of which around 150,000 live in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan.

Brunei’s main industries include petroleum, petroleum refining, liquefied natural gas and construction. Crude oil and natural gas production account for just over half of GDP and more than 90% of exports. Per capita GDP is among the highest in Asia, and substantial income from overseas investment supplements income from domestic production
